Vitality Teaming was established based on our founding partners’ vision of enhancing team performance and leadership skills through highly-engaging gamified training. Since the company’s founding in 2015, Vitality Teaming has worked with more than half of the Fortune 500 and many prominent
organizations, including not-for-profit institutions and schools.
Drawing from the powerful trends of the experience economy and gamification, as well as the founders’ past experiences, Vitality Teaming creates immersive team challenges that we refer to as Play Playground™. These experiences are both cerebral and tactile so as to maximize engagement (which drives efficacy) and emphasize the value of diversity of skills and approaches as well as enhance social currency to strengthen cohesion. Our team is comprised of renowned social psychologists, organization behaviorists team building experts and acclaimed game and puzzle designers who develop all of our purposeful games based on Vitality Teaming’s proprietary Game Reward FrameworkTM. How do you provide Type A leaders with an experiential group dynamics training? Historically, we were forced to put a group in a room with some hula hoops, pipe cleaners, markers and expect results. Now – we have the "CASE". It has the sophistication, intellectual challenge and creativity to capture the interest of all participants. The debrief following the exercise was insightful, enlightening and a perfect way to integrate an eighteen month program focused on personal leadership and tactical leadership development. The participants were able to reflect both on their role in solving the puzzles as well as the group dynamic.
We wanted to bring teamwork and teambuilding to life. As a program manager, the ability to host such an immersive experience in-house was extremely convenient. I cannot recommend this experience enough!
We introduced the CASE system at Riverdale Country School in order to teach leadership and teamwork to students and for professional development with members of the faculty, and the early results have been great. The students have a great time and learn to think about how they solve problems and work with others, as the challenge forces them to collaborate respectfully and effectively. For the faculty, it has served the dual role of inviting reflection on their own leadership skills as well as how they encourage group work in their students. Finding professional development opportunities that are both enjoyable and applicable to your teaching is hard, but CASE accomplishes both.
In all organizations, collaboration is critically important to getting work done. While team-building can take many forms, we identified and are partnering with Vitality Teaming as a unique way to bolster the skills needed to increase teamwork and performance. We have put well over 100+ employees through this experience and the feedback is extremely positive. Participants are learning about leadership, active listening, effective feedback, strategy & planning, all from this innovative experience. Now with CASE, we are able to offer multiple channels for our employees to participate, at Vitality Teaming's NYC facility or directly in our workplace locations. With time away from work always being a concern, CASE allows us to bring a complimentary experience directly to our employees.
